Lord Stanley Retrospective

So, it would appear that in a complete failure as a blog, I did not post through the Spring. This would not be such a big deal, but, the Boston Bruins, the erstwhile subject of this blog, happened to go and win their first Stanley Cup since 1972. Now I can't recapture what i went through over the last 3 months in complete detail, and to be honest I was was to superstitious once it became apparent that this team might have a chance to go far in the playoffs to blog about it. Didn't want to jinx them. But now that I have a little more time on my hands, I have an idea of how to recapture the spirit of the Cup run.

What I'll do is devote a full blog post to each of the Bruins' Playoff Games, beginning with the two they dropped to Montreal at home, and I'll run all the way to their amazing and unbelievable win in Game 7 in the Final against the Canucks. I'll do my best to document what I was thinking at any particular time, and what i thought the Bruins' chances were of actually winning the series (and the Cup) and the games go along. Granted it won't be as vivid as if I'd done this on the fly while they were actually still playing, but I think some retrospective will put me in a good place to reflect on the run as a whole. Which is good, because I still don't really believe that it actually happened.
